Welcome to IndianChic
With a meritorious Master’s degree in Fashion Management from National Institute of Fashion Technology and almost 6+ years of working experience, I have switched many careers and now finally settled into one. Presently, I am an entrepreneur of a clothing brand, STYLOGUE and a Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle Blogger at IndianChic.
But, this is not how I started and this is not what I had planned for myself. While pursuing my graduation in English Honors from Delhi University and aspiring to became a cabin crew was something I always had on my mind since I was a little one. I was a medical student till my intermediate but realised that it was something I just liked to study but not pursue. Hence, took up English honors.
During my third year, I got into Kingfisher Airlines as a Cabin Crew and since then there was no looking back. After flying for a couple of years and with the change of airlines, I wanted to do something different. That is when I left my glamorous and fascinating job (tough but not that tough decision of my life) and went for my post-graduation.
That was my life changing and best decision I took. Though, flying was actually one experience when I had the best time of my life but today I am much happier and settled.
Coming back to IndianChic, I started writing since I was 17. I often used to pen down my thoughts in my personal diary. Also, wrote a few articles as a freelancer for a few e-magazines and websites owned by my friends’. From their idea of running my own Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle blog got ignited and from their INDIAN CHIC started.
Many people ask me, why ‘IndianChic’ ?
Frankly speaking, I just found this word immensely attractive. I anyhow wanted to use it somewhere and hence it is here in front of you.
What is IndianChic about?
It is about everything you would want to know. Not solely dedicated to fashion but covers everything possible from fashion, beauty to lifestyle.
I am about to celebrate a year ceremony with my baby blog. I am still nurturing it and want to make this space as best as possible for my readers.
I hope whatever I write is relatable and if not I will always be happy to hear from you.
