“Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.” – Coco Chanel

She moved through the water with effortless grace without letting the world know her best traits.

They thought she is a slender woman with no courage but lesser they knew that she is a rage.

She has no one to prove but herself. No one she is dependent on.

She’s Today’s Woman.

You better be aware and beware!

No, today’s post is not on feminism. Yes, you often see me writing about woman power and the energy bestowed upon them to take over the world. Not because I am a woman myself instead the zeal and strength they are blessed with, if recognised is unbeatable.

Sari is one of our outfits in India which not only makes a woman look poised and polished but represent a  most beautiful  side of her.

This 9 yards of cloth has been draped by Bollywood to Hollywood celebrities innumerous ways. Recently, sari’s made a cosmic comeback in the form of contemporary styling.

Recently, sari’s made a cosmic comeback in the form of contemporary styling. One would find shirts, crop tops, cold shoulder tops, peplums or jackets paired with saris. From bloggers to the runway, it has become one of the most loved outfits.

Just that way, I thought to do my very first Sari Styling for you all and here I am.

Taking inspiration from victorian elegance to 90’s looks, very thoughtfully three looks have been shown to you here.

LOOK – BANDANA MANIA

Spring scarves and bandanas are selling hot this season. They are one of the most trending fashion things for spring summer 16. One can either add a pop of color to a neutral outfit or soften up a stark ensemble using them. The best part is it can be styled in countless ways.

Now, did you think how pretty bandanas can look with Sari?

I won’t say more, just have a look.

LOOK – RETRO ME

Remember in 70’s women wearing scarves tied along their ponytail or may be across the neck?

I tried playing around the same and gave it a retro chic look.

The look turned out to be cute and gorgeous at the same time.

LOOK 3 – AROUND MY NECK

Here, the ‘PALLU’ (the cloth of the sari left in the end, usually maximum printed) of the sari is rolled nicely around the neck like a scarf and rest left in front of back as one is comfortable.

Not only this gives you an edgy look but makes the sari even easy to manage.
